The "Basilica and Patriarchal Monastery of the Lord and our God and Saviour Jesus Christ of All Saints" is built on a rocky outcrop at the end of a wooded slope and stands as a bright lighthouse, at a height of about 30 metres from the sea, on the north-eastern side of the peninsula of Mount Athos.
Holy Monastery of Pantokrator occupies the seventh place in the hierarchy of the twenty dominant Athonite monasteries.
The building complex with the Cathedral of the Holy Parliamentary Monastery of Pantokrator, the frescoes, the rich archival material, the historical sources, the wealth of relics, manuscripts and documents reveal the spiritual and historical life of the Monastery from the time of its foundation, the famous Palaeologian renaissance in the mid-14th century, to the present day.

Ή Μονὴ Παντοκράτορος ἔχει τὴν μεγάλη εὐλογία νὰ ἔχει ἀρχικὰ ἱστορηθεῖ τὸ Καθολικό της ἀπὸ ἕνα θαυμάσιο καλλιτέχνη ποὺ ὁ χρωστήρας του διέπεται ἀπὸ τὶς ἀρχὲς τῆς μνημειακῆς, παλαιολόγειας ζωγραφικῆς καὶ τῆς θεολογίας τοῦ ἡσυχασμοῦ. Παρατηρῶντας κανεὶς τὶς τοιχογραφίες εἴτε κάτω ἀπὸ τὸ λαμπρὸ φῶς τοῦ ἥλιου, εἴτε κάτω ἀπὸ τὸ ταπεινὸ φῶς τῶν καντηλιῶν, εἴτε τὸ λυκαυγὲς ἢ τὸ λυκόφως, κατανοεῖ ὅτι τόσο οἱ κατακερματισμένες μὲ περισσὲς πινελιὲς μορφὲς τῶν γερόντων καὶ καταπονημένων ἀπὸ τὴν ἄσκηση παλαιῶν μοναχῶν, ὅσο καὶ οἱ σφριγηλές, μὲ πλατειὲς φωτεινὲς ἐπιφάνειες, μορφὲς τῶν στρατιωτικῶν ἁγίων σιγοψιθυρίζουν τὸ ἐξαποστειλάριον τῆς Πανηγύρεως τῆς Μεταμορφώσεως:

It is a project representative of the collaboration between science, technology and a monastic brotherhood, aiming at the preservation and promotion of its spiritual and cultural heritage.
Art and culture provide the content for a digital transformation defined as a set of social, technical, linguistic, interpretive or symbolic constructions, organised by means of interconnection, information and communication media in order to be transformed into a digital cultural heritage.
